Mask for Mask

For every mask that I sell I also donate one to healthcare and frontline workers. The masks are sold for $10 so that they can be free for those who are risking their lives everyday to keep us healthy and functioning as a society.

How to Care for Your Mask

It is important to wash your mask after every use. This will ensure that you have a sanitized mask every time you put it on. Using a mask leaves the germs that you would have breathed in on the outside of the fabric. Those germs that you are trying to avoid are now on your mask after use! When taking your mask off, try to touch the fabric as little as possible to keep your hands clean and use the straps to remove it from your face. The entire mask is washing machine safe and can be run on a very warm or sanitary cycle. Leave your mask out to air dry or place it in the dryer.

Mask Construction

My masks are made of 100% cotton fabric backed with non-woven featherweight polyester interfacing for maximum filtration. There are two layers of this cotton and interfacing combination with a pocket in between where a filter can be placed. This three layer fabric is what is recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO). There is also a copper nose piece at the top for a more fitted and secure fit. We have multiple strap options based on preference including fabric ties to go around the head and elastic loops to secure behind your ears.

Charcoal Filters for Masks

For extra protection, you can add a filter inside the pocket sewn into the mask! Here is a link to some mask filters that fit perfectly inside our masks.
